PHC’s main objective is to explore practical ways that will enable it to resolve the housing problem in the Palestinian Territories. Since PHC is a non profit organization, it has set out a number of objectives, the most important of which can be summed up as follows:
Research the housing problem and put forth studies and mechanisms needed to resolve this problem.
Participate with concerned parties to set up a Palestinian housing national strategy
Set up housing projects by employing modern techniques taking into account the reservation of the religious, social and cultural features of Palestine.
Participate in designing and implementing renovation and maintenance of buildings and provide loans for this purpose.
Participate in urban and rural development programs as well as Palestinian neighborhoods by designing plans and secure the budgets for this purpose
Participate in setting up loan housing bank that can provide loans for individuals or groups to constrict buildings
Encourage the private sector to invest in housing projects in accordance with scientific standards.
Brief the international community and the competent institutions on the status of housing in Palestine and urge them to provide support in this regard.
Obtain loans or donations from Arab and international parties to support its housing programs
Cooperate with local and international and international organizations in order to develop and modernize the housing sector in Palestine
Assist local housing societies to implement their own housing programs
Build housing units in the West Bank and Gaza for people of low and medium income and market these units in accordance with a sales system or in monthly and reasonable installments with varies options.
Encourage individual construction in rural areas and in cities by providing loan tern credit.
Support the housing issue in all its levels in the city of Jerusalem ( al Wuds Asharif)
