Al Sumoud Housing Project

In 2003, PHC executed Al-Sumoud Project in Sur Baher village in the south of Jerusalem on a 2,780 m² site the council purchased and mortmain in order to house the families who resorted to the Islamic Cultural Center as a shelter after the Israeli occupation authorities demolished their houses and threatened to withdraw their identity. The project contains 30 apartments with a total cost of $2.4 million, and at the rate of $80 thousand per apartment.
